After Cadillac, it now looks like Ford's premium division is going through a rebirth. Similar to the mythical Phoenix, Lincoln seems to be rising from the ashes of the Continental and Town Car with a new flagship sedan that's more dynamic and especially more compact. Read more ...

2009 Maserati GranTurismo S
2009 Maserati GranTurismo S - Maserati Sport Coupe Review - Automobile Magazine
Maserati's sexy and speedy new GranTurismo S takes us to the racetracks where history was made fifty years ago.

The good burghers of Metz, France, haven't heard a racket like this since Prussian Prince Frederick Charles besieged the place back in 1870. Trundling along the narrow cobblestone streets, our Maserati GranTurismo S - the brand-new, hooligans-rejoice version of Maserati's sexy coupe - clatters raucously on overrun and shakes the picturesque rafters of the medieval buildings with barely muffled blasts of V-8 pandemonium. We pull into a parking lot beneath the soaring spires of a Gothic cathedral and squeeze into a ridiculously cramped space after much gratuitous revving of the engine. By the time we kill the ignition, the parking attendant is hopping up and down with what we hope is enthusiasm. "Bruit magnifique!" he shouts over and over. Magnificent noise!

2008 Volkswagen Rabbit S
2008 Volkswagen Rabbit S - Volkswagen Golf Sport Hatchback Review - Automobile Magazine
You can toss it into turns at sporting speeds, and come out the other end with a roar.

I only drove the Rabbit briefly, but my overwhelming impression is that it oozes quality and refinement for an $18,000 car. There is nothing about it that feels cheap, from the nicely damped exterior door handles to the typically well-crafted VW interior, with its great seats, to the smooth and refined 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine. There's nice steering feel and a supple ride, and I didn't even mind that the inline-five, which at 170 hp provides plenty of power, was hooked to an automatic transmission, since it's a six-speed unit that's well mated to the engine. If it were me, though, I'd opt for the five-speed manual and use the thousand-dollar savings toward a four-door Rabbit, which has a base price of $17,485. Still, if you're looking to get into a high-quality small car, the two-door Rabbit with a five-speed manual, starting at $15,490, is a very attractive proposition. And heated seats are only a $225 option!

This is the new Golf MkVI.

Although it looks a bit like the Golf MkV we can clearly see the differences, new headlamps and front grille.
All we know is that there will be a petrol and diesel version, also keeping up with the tradition a GTI and a Bluemotion version like in the Golf MkV

VW officials said that the new Golf MkVI will “fix” all the problems from the MkV version (specially the interior)

A new look for the new C-MAX from Ford, and i have to say that it looks great. Only downside is that we have to wait until 2010 to see it in showrooms

The power will come from a 1.6l and a 2.0l engine both in petrol and diesel. The transmission will be a standard five or six speed manual . The twin-clutch semi-automatic Powershift box system will be an extra .

The space inside is said to be enough for all needs , the seats fold offering a flat area for storage .
More info on this later as we dig it

No major modifications , just some work on the interior .

The engine is the same , a 3.0 l petrol and 2.0 and 3.0 diesel engines all in 4×4 drive

This is just a small revision , a new BMW X3 will be launched in 2009 and we can bet that it will look different 🙂

Fiat 500 Ferrari edition

This is one hot supermini . The “ferrari” fiat 500 car and it does not get more exclusive than this .

Only 200 cars will be made and they are for the ferrari owners that want to keep the real super cars at home (or they are to busy for the ferrari madness). It is an alternative for the big red horses

Leather interiors , red paint and red all over the fiat 500 ferrari edition ” looks ” like a super mini but will not act like one .
Only a 1.4 l engine will be placed on it at 100bhp .

Who wants to bet it is already sold out ?

the new Honda Jazz

Another car that will appear in the Paris Motor Show in October – the NEW Honda Jazz

The prices for this smallish car will be arround 20,000 $ and could go up to 25-30,000 $ for the highest model .

The power will come from a 1.2 and a 1.4 petrol engine but Honda promised we will have a hybrid engine by the end of 2009 . No diesel engine for the new Jazz

A new look and feel for the Honda Jazz they have high expectations from this car ,more room for the passengers and storage space and a new attitude 🙂
