It's taken Volkswagen several auto shows to unfold its vision for microcars of the future, but Malaysian automaker Proton, coupled with ItalDesign, are introducing a concept car and a crossover spin-off at the 2010 Geneva motor show.inline_mediumwraptextright28194499/green/news/1002_italdesign_proton_eco_cars1002_05_z+italDesign_proton_eco-cars+front_three_quarter_view.jpgTrue
After a long flight, it's always a good idea to let the jet lag ease a bit before jumping into the pricey car that doesn't belong to you, in the foreign country where the roads are scary narrow and the steering wheel is on the wrong side.inline_mediumwraptextright26754476/reviews/driven/1003_2010_rolls_royce_ghost1003_01_z+2010_rolls_royce_ghost+front_three_quarter_view.jpgTrue
I was one of the first journalists to drive the ZDX, and I enjoyed my entire experience. I was, let me say, up around Monterey and Carmel in California, enjoying a fabulous couple of days of sightseeing, dining, and staying at the wonderful Post Ranch Inn. It was a luxurious vacation experience in the lavishly appointed and trimmed ZDX, a car that follows in the design shadow of the ungainly BMW GTs, cars I find grotesquely unattractive. The second I set eyes on the ZDX, I gasped audibly. But on second glance (when I opened my scrunched eyes), the ZDX was definitely more shapely and better proportioned. And I quickly got used to driving it on the twisty narrow roads around Carmel Valley and south on Highway 1.inline_mediumwraptextright32354727/reviews/editors_notebook/1002_2010_acura_zdx1002_04_z+2010_acura_zDX+rear_three_quarter_view.jpgTrue
To celebrate the fact that its Quattroporte has won nearly 56 different awards, Maserati has created a new special model -- the Quattroporte Sport GT S âAwards Editionâ -- that will be unveiled at the 2010 Geneva motor show.inline_mediumwraptextright26937065/features/news/1002_2010_maserati_quattroporte_sport_gt_awards_edition1002_01_z+2010_maserati_quattroporte_sport_gT_awards_edition+front_three_quarter_view.jpgTrue
Citroën has been a competitor in the World Rally Championship for many years and has celebrated numerous victories including five manufacturer's titles and six driver's titles. Now Citroën Racing, the company behind all those winning rally cars, has built a car for the street, the Citroën DS3 Racing.inline_mediumwraptextright26936246/features/news/1002_2010_citroen_ds3_racing_limited_edition1002_04_z+2010_citroen_dS3_racing_limited_edition+front_three_quarter_view.jpgTrue
By our count, there are only eight days until Audi unwraps its RS5 sport coupe at the Geneva motor show, but thatâs not stopping the automaker from spilling the beans on its latest model.inline_mediumwraptextright32380389/features/news/1002_2010_audi_rs51002_03_z+2010_audi_rS5+front_three_quarter_view.jpgTrue
Volkswagen already announced it is going to unveil a new Polo GTI at the 2010 Geneva motor show, but thatâs not the only new Polo variant headed to the show. The German automaker announced today that the new CrossPolo will also debut in Switzerland.inline_mediumwraptextright26936717/features/news/1002_2010_volkswagen_crosspolo1002_05_z+2010_volkswagen_crosspolo+profile.jpgTrue
As opposed to the Prius, which with its distinctive profile fairly screams its eco-friendliness to passersby, the Camry Hybrid is the most unobtrusive of hybrid vehicles. Disguised as a run-of-the-mill combustion-engined Camry, the only outward indication that there is a hybrid powertrain lurking under the skin is a small Hybrid Synergy Drive badge.inline_mediumwraptextright28167016/green/reviews/1002_2010_toyota_camry_hybrid1002_05_z+2010_toyota_camry_hybrid+front_three_quarter_view.jpgTrue
The wretched economy of the past year has been a boon to Hyundai, which enjoyed its biggest-ever market share in 2009. Hyundai's Tucson, though, has been a laggard: fewer than one-tenth as many have been sold as the segment-leading Honda CR-V. The redesigned, 2010 Tucson should fare better. First of all, it has shed the stubby look of its predecessor. The new car is lower, wider, and longer but is about fifty pounds lighter.inline_mediumwraptextright32138784/reviews/driven/1003_2010_hyundai_tucson1003_01_z+2010_hyundai_tucson+front_three_quarter_view.jpgTrue
With eight different model lines, one might hesitate to single out Hyundai's most important car. President and CEO John Krafcik, though, does not. "Sonata is the brand for Hyundai," he says. That explains why, for the new 2011 Sonata, Hyundai is spending twice what it did to launch the Genesis -- which was the brand's first-ever luxury offering and first-ever rear-wheel-drive car. Hyundai is betting heavily on this car, and the wager is likely to pay off. The new Sonata is at or near the top of its hyper-competitive class in a broad range of categories -- some you might expect (low price, fuel economy, light weight) and some you might not (power, torque, interior space, and driving dynamics).inline_mediumwraptextright32348628/reviews/driven/1002_2011_hyundai_sonata1002_01_z+2011_hyundai_sonata+front_three_quarter_view.jpgTrue
Despite its name, the most intriguing part of the Mercedes-Benz F800 Style concept isn't its style at all: the Geneva motor show concept is also an amazing rolling showcase of the German automaker's future alternative powertrain and convenience technologies. With the possible exception of its sliding rear doors, expect to see many of the gee-whiz gadgets on the F800 on an E- or S-Class sedan in the coming years.inline_mediumwraptextright28166584/features/news/1002_mercedes_benz_f800_style_geneva_concept_carmercedes-benz-f800-style-side-motion-view.jpgTrue
Weâve just read over Subaruâs plans for the 2010 Geneva motor show -- in addition to showcasing its Hybrid Tourer concept from the 2009 Toyko show, the Japanese automaker is debuting a new Impreza XV model -- a crossover model which will be offered exclusively in Europe.inline_mediumwraptextright32343768/features/news/1002_2010_subaru_impreza_xv1002_01_z+2010_subaru_outback_sport+rear_three_quarter_view.jpgTrue

In addition to unveiling the new 2010 F10 Formula 1 car, Ferrari CEO Luca di Montezemolo used this morning's press conference to briefly announce a hybrid version of the company's 599 GTB Fiorano will be shown at the 2010 Geneva motor show.inline_mediumwraptextright32341977/green/news/1002_2010_ferrari_599_gtb_hybrid1002_01_z+2010_ferrari_599_gTB_fioranno_hybrid+front_three_quarter_view.jpgTrue
It may share its name with a neat rear-wheel-drive concept convertible from 2004, but the new 2010 Renault Wind -- which will be unveiled at the 2010 Geneva motor show -- is Renaultâs way of lopping the top off its subcompact Twingo.inline_mediumwraptextright32342826/features/news/1002_2010_renault_wind1002_01_z+2010_renault_wind+side_view.jpgTrue
