Toyota opens new R&D facility and proving ground in Japan

Toyota Motor Corporation (Toyota) has announced that it has completed work on the central section of its new research and development facility, named Toyota Technical Centre Shimoyama, located in a mountainous area straddling the cities of Toyota and Okazaki. This section, which primarily features a winding country road test course, will begin partial operations today.
