General Motors' Two-Mode Hybrid technology was recognized as the best this year, a powertrain that consists of a 6.0-litre V8 and an electric motor that produce a combined output of 332 horsepower and 367 lb-ft of torque, while consuming just 9.8 L/100 km in the city.
