GERMANY: Daimler targets 2010 EBIT of EUR6bn

Daimler said on Tuesday it made a net profit of EUR1,312m in the second quarter of 2010 compared with a net loss of EUR1,062m a year ago on revenue of EUR25.1bn (EUR19.6bn). It added it was targeting full-year EBIT of EUR6bn after earlier reporting Q2 EBIT of EUR2,104m compared with a EUR1,005 loss in 2009. Full story...
