You've already seen the teaser sketch, but this is the first official photo of the actual Hyundai I-oniq: a small, extended-range electric concept car that will formally debut next week at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show.
Toyota's Prius family is growing. The Prius V is bigger in every key dimension than the stock Prius, and the company just unveiled the smallest Prius ever, the Prius C, which will cost less than $20K and get more than 50 mpg. We haven't yet driven the Prius C, but I'm going go out on a limb and project that Toyota will have done a better job of shrinking its ultrasuccessful Prius formula than it has in enlarging it.
With less than a month until this year's Geneva Motor Show, Mitsubishi has announced that it will use the show to introduce the next-generation Outlander. The new midsize crossover is designed to be more fuel-efficient and offer more technology than the current Mitsubishi Outlander.
The latest car to be leaked ahead of its Geneva Motor Show debut is the Infiniti Emerg-E concept. The electric sports car was previously revealed by leaked renderings (shown in the gallery below) released online two weeks ago.
We will admit that we never thought of Subaru as a sports-car maker. Yes, Subaru has made sporty, high-performance cars -- the WRX and STI, of course. But they were not sports car. Neither was the SVX, although it was cool in its own way, and the XT coupe before it, which was sort-of cool in a very weird way, was no sports car, either.
