We accidentally test the CX-5's safety credentials.
Earlier this year, the Insurance Institute for Highway Traffic Safety named the 2013 Mazda CX-5 a Top Safety Pick. Associate Web editor Evan McCausland unluckily put this claim to the test in mid-November when he struck a deer. His story follows:
