The world's automakers are offering 40 all-new or redesigned cars in the U.S. market for the 2014 model year. The variety is amazing, ranging from a $13,000 Mitsubishi Mirage to a $1.3 million Ferrari LaFerrari.

Daimler will spend around BRL1bn (US$458m) on its two Brazilian commercial vehicle plants between 2014 and 2015, the automaker said.
