China will revisit in 2018 the standards for vehicle-to-vehicle communication that are vital for driverless cars and lay out a common national standard after that, the chief of the Society of Automotive Engineers of China said today.
VW said it has received all clearances from Germany's motor vehicle authority to fix diesel cars fitted with rigged software. Under EU regulations, the fixes are valid for cars sold by VW and its Audi, Skoda and Seat brands across the 28-nation bloc.
