Ford has modified its 'scrappage scheme' as it extends it into the first quarter of 2018. After an outcry over the fate of a Standard car traded in earlier (it was saved after classic car fans' pleas all the way to the top at Ford UK), the automaker said, from 2018, vehicles which are classified as 'historic vehicles' by the DVLA would not automatically be scrapped.
