212 million dollars to recondition the Champlain Bridge

The Government of Canada's Minister of Public Works and Government Services confirmed the investment of 212 million dollars for the restoration of Montréal's Champlain Bridge. The contribution follows a request for financing made by Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated as part of a reconditioning program spanning 10 years and due to begin in 2009.
