Renault will supply Château de Versailles with 23 all-electric cars to monitor the beautiful and historic gardens originally designed by André Le Nôtre, the King's gardener, who was born 400 years ago.
Three Renault ZOE vehicles will be used by service staff to get around the grounds or travel between the national domain of Versailles and Marly. Ten Kangoo Z.E. Vans will be used by the gardeners and curators to carry rare objects, statues, plants and tooling, while 10 Twizy quadricycles will be used by security staff.
Visitors will even be able to see a special "Twizy carriage" featuring the decoration found on the carriage owned by the heir to the throne, the future Louis XVII.
