Mercedes motorsport boss Toto Wolff has rewarded German GT aces Maxi Götz and Maxi Buhk by scheduling a test for them aboard a DTM car, next month at the Lausitzring.
The two young Germans will test the C-Coupe Mercedes car on September 17.
Götz and Buhk most recently co-drove HTP Motorsport's SLS AMG GT3 with veteran Bernd Schneider to the win of the famous 24 Hours of Spa, late last July.
"Against strong competition, the two Maximilians have shown that they are ready to step up to the next level," Austrian Wolff is quoted saying by British source Autosport.
27-year-old Götz is a former German Formula BMW and GT Masters champion, and currently leads the ADAC GT Masters standings with 20-year-old Buhk.
