Hyundai has issued a recall of 52,317 Azeras (2006 to 2009) and Sonatas (2006 to 2010) due to a problem in the rear crossmember assembly.
On certain vehicles, road salt can cause corrosion, which can lead to separation of the control arm at the mounting point. This could result in a loss of vehicle control, thus increasing the risk of a crash and personal injury.
Dealers will repair or replace the rear crossmember assembly as required.
