Well, that didn't take long! The all-new 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra full-size pickups, which both hit the market back in June, have now been slapped with a first recall that affects 2,575 units.
In some cases, either front seat may display seatback movement. If the vehicle were struck from behind, the head restraint may not meet the requirements of the safety standard, which could increase the risk of injury.
Chevrolet and GMC dealers will therefore inspect the seatback recliner mechanism and make adjustments as necessary.
