Hennessey stays cool as his HPE-tuned 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray reaches 200 mph.
With the cooperation of the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), John Hennessey himself piloted a Hennessey Performance-tuned 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray to over 200 mph on a closed Texas highway, the first C7 to do so. The Stingray’s momentous test run also allowed TxDOT engineers and officials to test its toll tag systems on Hennessey’s high-performance vehicles.
