New York has held a motor show every year since 1900. Today, the show is held at the Jacob Javits Center, and is the best-attended show in North America, thanks to its convenient location. This year's event ran from 18-27 April, but new-car debuts were noticeably down as carmakers chose Beijing, which ran at the same time, to show new models.
