This fall at the Paris Auto Show Hyundai will introduce the all-new European i20. It's one of seven models that will adopt the Korean automaker's new “Fluidic Sculpture 2.0” design philosophy by 2016.
The next-generation i20 is based on a new platform with a 45mm longer wheelbase than its predecessor, resulting in one of the most spacious cabins in the segment — comfortable enough for five adults. The trunk offers a segment-leading 326 litres of cargo room with the rear seats up.
Highlights include a unique panoramic sunroof, a rear-view camera, as well as front and rear LED lighting. The upright chrome-framed hexagonal grille has been lowered, and a thin, horizontal grille connects the front headlamp clusters. A lower grille houses the front fog lamps.
Hyundai did not release the technical specifications for the new i20, so fans will have to wait until October 2nd.
