New vehicle sales in Indonesia fell by 16% to 88,300 units in October, from 105,200 units sold in the same month of last year, according to data collected by local industry association Gaikindo.
The country's economy is struggling with weak exports, low commodity prices and sluggish domestic consumption, held back by tight monetary policy.
Cumulative ten-month sales fell by almost 18% to 853,000 units, from 1,037,900 units in the same period of last year
