New vehicle sales in Indonesia fell by 16% to 88,300 units in October, from 105,200 units sold in the same month of last year, according to data collected by local industry association Gaikindo. The country's economy is struggling with weak exports, low commodity prices and sluggish domestic consumption, held back by tight monetary policy.
