Toyota has revised its Auris - the European version of the Corolla hatchback built here in the UK - with new 'optimal drive' powertrains including a new 1.6-litre 'Valvematic' petrol engine with 9% better fuel economy and 8% lower CO2 emissions yet 6% more power compared to previous 1.6 VVT-i unit.
