Replacing the X3 as BMW's smallest SUV, the X1 made its North American début at the Montreal International Auto Show. The entry-level model of the German manufacturer's SUV lineup, the X1, of which only 2,000 units were produced for its first year, targets younger buyers and is not necessarily an urban vehicle.
