MALAYSIA: Sales affected by supply disruption

Vehicle sales in Malaysia rose by 4.4% year-on-year to 50,936 units in April, according to the Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA). Compared with record volumes of 63,265 units in March, the market declined 19.5%, as the industry struggled with shortages of parts from Japan in the wake of the devastating earthquake in March.
