Transport Minister Sam Hamad, Minister of Finance and Member for Laval-des-Rapides Alain Paquet, Laval Mayor Gilles Vaillancourt, Société de transport de Laval (STL) President Jean-Jacques Beldié, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Agence métropolitaine de transport (AMT) Joël Gauthier, as well as the Manager of Customer Care and After-Sales for the Eastern Region at GM Canada, Frédéric Racine, got together to launch a new take on carpooling, offering carpoolers the opportunity to use electric cars to get to AMT park-and-ride parking lots at Cartier and Montmorency metro stations as well as at the Ste. Dorothee train station. The project is called CLIC.
