Former Renault Formula 1 driver, Robert Kubica is set to contest ten rounds of the new European Rally Championship behind the wheel of an M-Sport's Ford Fiesta RRC.
The FIA approved the introduction of a sequential gearbox activated by a semi-hydraulic system destined to help the Pole, whose right hand was badly damaged in a rally crash two years ago.
Robert Kubica will make his ERC debuts at the third round of the calendar, Rally Islas Canarias, 21-23 March.
The round held in his native Poland, which is also part of the ERC calendar, will be presented in September.
