Lotus has confirmed that the new Exige S Roadster will go on sale this summer in select markets. Unfortunately, Canada isn't one of them.
As the fastest Lotus convertible ever built, this car joins a strong lineup that currently includes the Exige S Coupe, Exige Cup, and Exige Cup R.
Powered by the familiar 3.5L V6 engine, the new Lotus Exige S Roadster generates 345 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 4.0 seconds and reaching a top speed of 233 km/h (electronically limited). It rides on 17” front, 18” rear tires.
Customers in the U.K., Europe and Japan can now order their Exige S Roadster for a cool €55,378 (approx. $73,500).
