A win in this weekend's contest in the streets of Detroit has moved Max Angelelli and Jordan Taylor into the lead of the Daytona Prototype category standings.

The Velocity Motorsports duo beat Joao Barbosa and Christian Fittipaldi to the finish line, in a Corvette 1-2.

Former championship leaders Memo Rojas and Scott Pruett dropped to fourth in the standings when the Rojas crashed out of the race.

John Edwards and Robin Liddell gave Chevrolet its second home win of the weekend by winning the GT category aboard their No. 57 Camaro.

Scuderia Corsa Ferrari duo Jeff Westphal and Alessandro Balzan finished second ahead of Max Papis and Jeff Segal in the Aim Autosport Ferrari.

Joel Miller and Tristan Nunez are the GX class winners.
