Ahead of Le Mans 24 Hours, team SRT has unveiled the new Viper GT3-R, that will be available for customers in racing starting in 2014.
The GT3-R was born from the same engineering and technology used by the SRT Viper GTS-R which competes in the American Le Mans Series and at Le Mans. Its engine, chassis, suspension, electronics and aerodynamics are a direct correlation to the GTS-R.
Powered by the tried and true Viper V-10 race engine, the GT3-R churns out 680-horsepower and 640-lb.-ft. of torque. The GT3-R is eligible to compete in FIA GT3, United SportsCar Racing GT Daytona, Pirelli World Challenge GT, NARRA and SCCA/NASA.
