Rolls-Royce is no longer reluctant about the idea of launching an SUV.
“We are intensively thinking about entering the SUV segment,” Rolls-Royce CEO Torsten Mueller-Oetvoes said in an interview to Bloomberg.
Designers are already penning sketches of what may become a rival to the Porsche Cayenne. Bentley, Maserati, and Jaguar are also working on their own SUV.
However, don't expect the future Roll-Royce 4x4 to hit the market before 2017.
FYI, the brand's most affordable model is currently priced at $340,000.
