Alco Prevention Canada has signed a deal with an Australian company to supply breathalizers to local drivers in an effort to prevent drunk driving.
Other partnerships were sealed recently, including with the U.S. Army.
“We were chosen because of our super-effective and highly accurate system,” said Stéphane Maurais, general manager of Alco Prevention Canada. “Over the past 25 years and more, we've developed a product that effectively prevents accidents and even casualties.”
Single-usage breathalizers allow people to find out their blood alcohol content and determine whether it's safe to take the wheel.
Alco Prevention Canada has over 2,000 sales outlets across Canada and the U.S., along with a distribution network in France, Poland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Guatemala, and Austria.
