Visitors at the 2012 Australian International Motor Show (October 18-28) will be the first to lay eyes on the completely redesigned 2013 Mazda CX-9.
The big crossover looks leaner and sportier thanks to Mazda's "KODO - Soul of Motion" design theme. It's also the first model to be equipped with the i-ELOOP brake energy regeneration system.
Advanced active safety features have been added along with a new audio system. Under the hood is the same 3.7L V6 engine and 6-speed autobox as the outgoing generation, which has sold over 210,000 units in 74 countries around the world, including North America and Australia.
The 2013 Mazda CX-9 will hit the market in Australia later this year. No word yet on Canadian pricing and availability.
