Formerly known and presented last June as ''iOS in the Car,'' Apple's CarPlay onboard communication system with smartphone integration will find its way into several vehicles starting next week.
Ferrari, Mercedes-Benz, and Volvo will use the Geneva Auto Show to make such announcements, according to the Financial Times. Apple reportedly has agreements with 18 car companies already.
CarPlay allows drivers to control incoming calls, text messages, navigation, and entertainment functions through a familiar interface that includes both a touchscreen and voice recognition.
