It looks like Audi is about to expand its portfolio once again, this time with plug-in hybrid variants of the A6, A8, and Q7.
Dr. Ulrich Hackenberg, head of the R&D department at Audi, confirmed to Indian Autos Blog that these new models will soon join the rest of the lineup. When exactly? He wouldn't say.
The next-generation Audi Q7, scheduled for 2015, will likely benefit from the new plug-in hybrid technology.
No word yet on global availability.
