After having been forced to withdraw from the IndyCar Series due to a lack of funds, Dreyer & Reinbold has confirmed that it will be back in motrosport, but this time it will run a car in the Global Rallycross event of the Los Angeles X Games in August.
That is the result of getting back together with James Sullivan's SH Racing and GRC Olsbergs to run the 'star car' at the X Games event on the first weekend of August.
The team's driver has not yet been announced.
Those squads have been involved together before, having fielded Tomas Scheckter's Indy 500 entry in 2011. This year, SH Racing has worked with Indy winner KV Racing Technology and Tony Kanaan.
