Subaru Canada today announced pricing and specifications for the 2014 Outback, whose “crisp, car-like handling” makes it an “adventure-ready SUV alternative.”
Powertrain choices start with a 2.5L, 4-cylinder BOXER engine that produces 173 horsepower through a standard 6-speed manual transmission or a second-generation Lineartonic CVT. Meanwhile, the 3.6L, 6-cylinder BOXER engine develops 256 horsepower with the help of a 5-speed Electronic Direct Control Automatic Transmission with manual mode.
