On November 7th, 1993, Ayrton Senna earned the last podium of his career at the Australian Grand Prix. He did it by winning the race, while Alain Prost and Damon Hill finished second and third, respectively.
As you know, Ayrton Senna died a few months later during the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix. His rival Roland Ratzenberger suffered the same tragic fate, and several people were injured as a result of the crashes, including spectators.
