Daimler's long-serving CEO in South Africa, Hansgeorg Niefer, will return to Germany to head a Mercedes engine plant. Martin Zimmermann, currently head of Daimler strategy and alliances will succeed Niefer as CEO of Mercedes-Benz South Africa.
