Volkswagen of America is the latest car maker to announce a vehicle debut ahead of next year's North American International Auto Show. The Chattanooga-built 2020 Passat is merely the current model with new body panels rather than - as had been expected - the twin of China's recently released, XL-sized and genuinely new Passat.
