After he set the fastest time on Tuesday, Marco Wittmann (BMW) emerged quickest again in the second day of DTM collective testing at Hockenheim.
The German, who will make his DTM debuts next month after having been the BMW test driver in 2012, completed 134 laps on Wednesday, with a best lap time in 1m33''227. He leads Miguel Molina's Audi A5 (1m33''242) and Martin Tomczyk's BMW M3 (1m33''524).
The first Mercedes driver was Daniel Juncadella, who was 8th fastest aboard his C-Coupé (1m34''284). Eleven drivers took part to this test day. The collective testing will resume Thursday and Friday.
