Mercedes is expected to run eight cars in the DTM next year. The German car manufacturer will test several drivers this fall, including former F1 driver, Jaime Alguesuari and the new Euro F3 champion, Raffaele Marciello.
Headed by Toto Wolff, HWA will test several drivers at Hockenheim, November 13.
One year ago, Jaime Alguesuari was about to joint BMW in the DTM, but the Spaniard was eventually not chosen in favour of another former F1 driver, Timo Glock.
The newly crowned Euro F3 champion, Raffaele Marciello is a member of the Ferrari Driver Academy and will also test a Mercedes DTM car. Sweden's Felix Rosenqvist, second in that same series will also be tested.
Two other Mercedes GT drivers, Maximilian Götz and Maximilian Buhk will also get to drive the Mercedes DTM car.
