Exotic cars and prestige cars are the ultimate status symbols on four wheels. People who drive a Lamborghini Aventador, Rolls-Royce Phantom and the like always get noticed and immediately become the most important person around.

Most exotic cars are about exceptional power and ultra-high performance. It's a very small niche only the world's sportiest brands occupy, from Lotus to Ferrari. Basically, any car that's ever appeared on a poster and decorated a teenage boy's bedroom walls qualifies as being exotic.
