Both BMW-Sauber drivers retired from qualifying at Monza with the same failures in their fresh V8 engines, the team revealed on Saturday. First Nick Heidfeld and then Robert Kubica had to park their cars during the Q2 session, on the same day mechanics fitted new BMW engines for the high speed demands of the Autodromo Nazionale.
