Marussia F1 test driver Maria de Villota will stage a press conference this Thursday in Madrid.
De Villota suffered serious head injuries and lost an eye in a freak accident that happen when she tested the Marussia F1 car for the first time at the Duxford aerodome early July.
She will meet the press at the Sports Council at noon in presence of Carlos Gracia, the president of the Royal Spanish Automobile Federation.
She will probably explained what happened when the Marussia F1 car she was driving suddenly accelerated foward as she was rolling to a stop. The car slammed into one of the transporters and the front of her helmet hit the loading ramp.
Weeks after the accident, the Marussia F1 team revealed avec investigations that the crash was not the cause of a car-related issue.
