Romain Grosjean top the very wet first practice session and Lewis Hamilton was the fastest on Friday afternoon, while the weather got even worse at Silverstone.

Not really much to say this day. A sodden track combined to a limited number of wet and intermediate tires, the action was really limited on this Friday.

Romain Grosjean placed his Lotus on top in the morning, ahead Daniel Ricciardo (Toro Rosso) and Lewis Hamilton (McLaren). In the afternoon, the conditions got worse and Kobayashi was the most spectacular to watch when he sets the fastest lap. Only Lewis Hamilton (McLaren), in front of his public, was able to go faster.

Frustrating day for the Friday drivers, who were not able to fully enjoy their drives and only covered some laps.

As a thought for the injured Maria de Villota, several drivers are wearing a star on their cars or their helmets.
