Times are tough for the 2013 Ford Escape and Fusion. The former has been hit with a fourth recall since July 23rd, and the latter its second in three days. In both cases, the 1.6L engine is the guilty part.
In some cases, engine overheating could result in flammable fluid leaks coming into contact with the hot exhaust system, which would lead to a fire in the engine compartment.
A correction has yet to be determined. Affected owners should contact their local Ford dealer for further details.
