Upon taking over Chrysler in 2009, Sergio Marchionne detailed the next several years' worth of product plans for the new Fiat and Chrysler family, including a B-segment car as well as a C-segment model that would rival the Honda Civic, Hyundai Elantra and Ford Focus.
