The Renault-Nissan Alliance has confirmed earlier reports it sold a record 8,266,098 vehicles in 2013, propelled by (also) record sales in its two largest markets, China and the United States, making it the globe's fourth largest automaker behind Toyota, General Motors and Volkswagen.
