Sam Bird won the second of two GP2 races, presented this weekend in Bahrain.

Brazilian Felipe Nasr picked up second place and Stefano Coletti, the new championship leader, third.

Tom Dillmann started on pole, but suffered a steering problem and was soon overtaken by his teammate Sam Bird, and then by Coletti and Nasr.

Bird's problems with the soft tire in the closing stages of the race allowed Coletti and Nasr to catch up. Bird pulled off the win despite pressure from the two runner-ups.

Dillmann ended up fourth.
