Korean automakers Hyundai and Kia expect to sell a combined 7.86 million vehicles in 2014 vs. 7.56 million vehicles last year. The 3.9% gain would be the smallest in eight years.
Part of the blame goes to increased competition, as well as a stronger Korean won than the Japanese yen and U.S. dollar. The global economy, which is still on idle, obviously doesn't help.
