More on Daihatsu Motor's plans to build a new assembly plant in Indonesia to meet fast-rising demand for new vehicles across South-East Asia. Vehicle sales in Indonesia rose by over 57% to a record 765,000 units in 2010, while sales in the ASEAN region were up by 32% to 2.5m units.
