JAPAN’ QUAKE: Toyota reviving old Central Motor plant

Toyota will resume vehicle production at Central Motor's Sagamihara plant in Kanagawa Prefecture on 11 April, reversing a pre-earthquake plan to transfer output to Central Motor's brand-new Miyagi plant in Miyagi Prefecture, an area close to the 11 March 'quake and tsunami. The plant, opened in January, suffered some damage.
